Through sacred sweat and song, this temazcal ceremony cleanses the body and awakens the spirit.
With Abuela Tzila holding the circle, the ancient sweat lodge becomes a place of reverence, release, and transformation. The prayers are felt, the heat does its work, and what is ready to move finally gets somewhere to go. Let the fire take what you no longer need.

Arrival and intentions: Guests are welcomed with tea and a heart-opening practice to soften the body and mind with intention.
Energetic clearing: Copal is used in an ancient ritual to cleanse your field, invite presence and protection, and open your channel.
Temazcal dressing: Layer by layer, we cleanse the fabric and seal the lodge in a tradition that reaches back thousands of years.
Build the altar: A turtle and serpent take shape to honor nature, shedding, and rebirth. Bring sacred objects to activate.
The ceremony: The heat, stone, song, steam, and herbs come together in ritual for a deeply spiritual, full-body release.
Closing with clarity: Return to fresh fruit, homemade electrolytes, and an outdoor shower beneath the open sky.

Dress for heat: Skirts, dresses, shorts, or lightweight pants. Cotton or linen. Polyester traps heat.
Expect a little earth. You’ll be seated on the ground and get your hands dirty—gratefully, Guanacaste soil is mineral-rich.
Better together: Everything step is sacred. But, if you prefer to sit out for parts of the ceremony, we meet you where you are.
Finishing touches: A red headband and ceremonial belt are provided as a symbolic part of the practice.
Pack for the afterglow. Bring a towel and toiletries if you’d like to have a rinse, and a change of clothes for after.
Booking and belonging: Ceremony begins at 10 AM and lasts approximately 6 hours. Spoken in Spanish and English.

Hanne—of Moon Spirit Healing and Wellness—comes to breathwork through the body first. As a professional dancer turned facilitator, her approach is intuitive rather than instructional. She creates space that feels safe and steady, where you can settle back into yourself without pressure to perform.
